The daily journals written from 1927-1962 by Verlie White, daughter of Horace Greeley White and Nannie Burch White. She was the great granddaughter of Benjamin Fanning and Nancy Jane Martin. Benjamin was one of the founding fathers of Athens and the first postmaster. His was the first house in built in Athens (see "Houses" in this website).
